We are expert designers and custom fabricators who make such items as metal pressings and precision coil or flat springs and many other items.
NZ Spring Works is a family business with a lifetime of knowledge and experience in spring design and manufacture: together with a genuine pride in our workmanship and customer service.
Unlike compression springs, extension springs resist stretching or tensile forces that is why when the ends are pulled apart, the spring will try to bring them together again.
While they all serve different purposes, compression springs all work on the same principle; they offer resistance to linear compressing forces. You push them, they push back!
